We are currently looking to fill an open position in our IT department located at the corporate office on Allen Rd.
Summary: The IT Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's technology systems. This includes managing the implementation, maintenance, and support of all technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. The IT Manager will work closely with many other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of company data
. Manage the budget for the IT department and make recommendations for future technology investments
. Become an expert in the date structure of a complex ERP platform
. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of all technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, CCTV systems, printers and network systems
. Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
. Respond to and resolve basic and advanced technical support requests from end-users, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure while documenting support requests and tracking resolutions
. Communicate with end-users to provide status updates and follow-up on outstanding issues and follow-up with any third-party support companies on support requests
. Travel to and from remote offices periodically to troubleshoot and maintain all technology related equipment from time to time
. Stay current with the latest technology developments and make recommendations for new technology solutions
Qualifications:
. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
. 5 + years of experience within an IT department or equivalent
. Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure and systems, including hardware, software, and network systems - Microsoft experience a must - server OS, hyper-V, Office365, Azure as well as VMWare, Cisco networking, etc...
