The Senior IT Project Managerplays a pivotal role in the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects, leveraging extensive project management expertise to balance deadlines, scope, and budgetary constraints. Responsibilities include orchestrating resources, coordinating team efforts, and managing third-party collaborators to ensure project tasks align with objectives. Mitigating risks, fostering collaboration with stakeholders, and advocating for the ITS Governance and PMO standards are also central to the role.

You will be working on innovative multimillion dollar projects: SAP, AI, digital transformations, and cutting edge ERP initiatives!

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee project lifecycle phases, from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and scope.
• Maintain operational oversight, ensuring day-to-day project tasks align with objectives.
• Establish and enforce project management standards, policies, and methodologies.
• Contribute to strategic PMO planning to advance the ITS Project Portfolio.
• Foster a proactive, solution-oriented team culture through coaching and supervision.
• Cultivate critical partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Facilitate effective communication through progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Drive organizational adoption of new processes and technologies introduced by project deliverables.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices through continuous learning and professional engagement.
• Uphold compliance with company procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in project management within medium to large companies with complex systems.
• Demonstrated success in managing diverse project portfolios within varying scopes and complexities.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Preferred experience with SAP implementations and PMP certification (not required).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
• Strong technical proficiency and organizational skills.
• Motivated self-starter capable of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
