Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Information Technology group. We are looking for an Information Technology Intern to help support a variety of platforms that will range in scale and complexity within the Cloud Security team. In this role, you will assist in analyzing, configuring, supporting, and securing platforms and integrations within the ever-evolving O365/Azure landscape. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, the ability to navigate complex challenges, a collaborative mindset to foster a unified approach to enterprise goals and possess the willingness to learn new technologies and concepts. This position will function in a team-oriented environment and adhere to project timelines.
The CHS IT Internship Program is targeted for 5/13/2024 - 8/16/2024 (this timeframe can be somewhat flexible).
Responsibilities
- O365 Administration: o Learn from senior Cloud Security engineers to review, configure, and secure application add-ins and integrations for all platforms.
- Support licensing configurations, using group-based licensing, and reclaiming licenses.
- Configure Org-wide settings to implement new products and secure the landscape.
- Provide support for a hybrid AD and Exchange environment.
- Azure AD Administration:
- Assist with the review, approval, implementation, and securing of new capabilities and platforms within Azure landscape.
- Work with cross-functional teams to secure Microsoft platforms i.e. Teams, Power Platform, CoPilot, SharePoint, Viva, Project, Power BI, Windows 365, etc.
- Review, configure, and secure Enterprise Applications and Application Registrations for authorization.
- Participate in meetings to review Message Center announcements, discuss implementation strategies, and determine best practices for the CHS environment.
- General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to create and update supporting documentation by offering changes to enhance clarity and readability.
- Provide recommendations for process improvement by suggesting changes that could be implemented to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to CHS IT policies, procedures, and change management practices.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or similar STEM degree program
