Position Summary: The IT Help Technician is responsible for handling all incoming technical support requests for Terros Health, as directed by the IT Director. This primarily includes responding to Help Desk calls and handling end-user hardware and software requests and problems. This position is expected to provide excellent customer service to Terros Health end users. The IT Help Desk Technician will also assist the IT Director with various projects of all levels. The IT Help Desk Technician must have a high level of professionalism and excellent follow-through. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology.
Essential Duties
- Ensure that end-users receive a high level of quality customer service.
- Provide technical support on all end-user software.
- Provide first and second level technical support on all company hardware (i.e., mobile phones, thin clients, laptops).
- Maintain and update IT loaner equipment, noting all maintenance in asset tracking system.
- Ensure all work performed complies with HIPAA guidelines.
- Update changes to IT inventory to ensure inventory stays up to date.
- Continually assess the technical needs of staff and various departments, bringing suggestions for improvement to the IT Director

- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent;
- Ability to effectively communicate technical procedures with non-technical staff.
- In-depth knowledge of supporting Windows operating systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of client applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite programs.
- Working knowledge of local area and wide area networks.
- Hands-on experience of server applications, including but not limited to SQL, Active Directory and Office 365.
- This role is a non-driving position. This position is performed at one location and does not require travel to various Terros Health centers. May be 21 years of age and with less than two years’ driving experience or no driving experience.
- Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
- Must pass a TB Test.
