Position Description:

We are looking for a tech-savvy Help Desk technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software.

Help Desk Job Responsibilities:

•Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation and LAN performance.

•Provides answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users through corrective steps.

•Improves users references by writing and maintaining documentation.

•Participates in the development of users training programs by identifying learning issues and recommending instructional language.

•Accommodates user’s disabilities by recommending devices and techniques.

•Avoids legal challenges by monitoring compliance with service agreements.

•Improves system performance by identifying problems and recommending changes.

•Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining personal networks.

•Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

•Prior information technology or systems administration experience preferred.

•Familiarity with telephone, office, and warehouse software a plus
