We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Operations Manager with a specialization in the Microsoft platform (Entra, Azure, Intune, Co-Pilot, etc), solutions engineering, scalability assessment, with a strong commitment to servant leadership. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Primary Job Responsibilities:
As an IT Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment supporting stakeholders across the United States. This may include but is not limited to:
- Oversee day to day operations and platform reliability across the Microsoft suite of offerings.
- Manage our Microsoft platform to support business requirements.
- Stay abreast of the latest industry developments and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness of our employees.
- Define, document, and maintain architectural standards while accommodating best practices.
- Managing mail flow configuration including internal traffic, external traffic, encryption, and filtering / rules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and develop comprehensive, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently based upon the deliverable.
- Comfortable working with third party vendors that manage various services / onsite networks.
- Must be able to build trust and rapport with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Develop, maintain, and train IT staff on technical documentation, processes & procedures, and system configurations.
- Evaluate existing systems, vendors, and processes for identification of opportunities.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have experience with Microsoft Azure / Entra, various technical platforms, IT leadership, and effective technical documentation. Additional qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure design, support, and administration.
- 4+ years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure / Entra and Microsoft365.
- 2+ years of experience building and supporting SharePoint sites.
- 2+ years of experience in IT Operations Management.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a focus on servant leadership principles.
- Strong experience with IT infrastructure design and support, virtual machines / desktops, backup, and automation.
- Strong background in solutions engineering and architecture.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies.
- Identity management including SSO, MFA, conditional access, event management, device registration, identify protection, hybrid identity management solutions (Okta experience a plus)
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Strong understanding of mail flow best practices, rules, configuration, secure messaging / filtering, managing spam or block lists
- Experience providing architectural documentation, design documents, process flows, etc
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service mindset
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills

^Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
