The Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts and Request for Information for the Contract Management and RFP system and processes. This position requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong understanding of procurement best practices.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Load and maintain current contracts into the Contract Management system.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
- Implement alerts and notifications for contract renewals and expirations, ensuring timely actions.
- Liaise with legal and procurement teams to address contract-related inquiries and issues.
- Develop and maintain standardized templates for RFIs and RFPs. Collaborate with category managers to understand their needs and assist in the creation of RFI/RFP documents.
- Manage the RFI/RFP process from initiation to conclusion, including vendor communication, timeline adherence, and documentation.
- Analyze and evaluate vendor proposals to support decision-making.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding contract and RFI/RFP-related matters.
- Provide training and guidance to users on Contract Management tools and RFI/RFP procedures.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors and internal teams to ensure alignment and efficient collaboration.
- BS Degree in Operations and/or Financial Oriented field preferred OR at least 1-2 years in related position.
- Skilled knowledge of MS Office programs preferred.
- Supply Chain experience including buying, transportation, logistics, accounting, inventory management, and distribution/manufacturing. Multiple Supply Chain functional area experience preferred.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong inter-Company and inter-Department relationships.
