Job Description:

• This position will provide an advanced level of support to multiple customers, primarily MSP clients who are primarily working remotely.
• Receive escalated issues and perform advanced troubleshooting; takes ownership of problems and see them through to resolution.
• Evaluate and document customer environments against a set of best practices.
• Support of a variety of cloud services, e.g., remote desktops, active directory, group policies, MDM, network patching, servers (both on-site and virtual), etc.
• Onsite consultation on an L2 rotation basis for Thursdays. Also onsite work ad hoc as need arises. Mileage reimbursed.
• Creation, testing, and implementation of Group Policies.
• Installation of software updates, firmware updates, new features or windows patches for firewalls or servers.
• Setup and configuration of new infrastructure, e.g., new UPS or printer installed.
• Updating or configuring MDT servers.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Managed Service Provider environment required
• Excellent written and verbal skills with an aptitude for documentation
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Superior customer relations skills
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft enterprise technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange, along with desktop systems and/or various software applications and proficiency in networking
• Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages is a plus
• Possess 2 or more IT Certifications: CompTIA ITF+ or higher level required within 60 days of employment.
• Preferred: Associate level certifications such as CCNA or MCSA
• Must provide their own transportation and will be compensate for business mileage
• Must dress and present themselves in a professional manner (shirts provided)
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have reliable means of transportation
• Must be able to pass background check
• Must be able to pass drug screening
