Symphony Risk Solutions LLC is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer/Technician to provide technical assistance to our colleagues. You will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
If youre computer-savvy and enjoy supporting end users, wed like to meet you. To succeed in this role, you should have a problem-solving attitude along with the ability to give clear technical instructions. You should also be familiar with remote troubleshooting techniques.
Ultimately, you will ensure prompt and accurate response to our colleagues.
Salary: $65000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Address user requests regarding hardware, software and networking
- Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
- Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
- Conduct remote troubleshooting
- Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
- Follow up with colleagues to ensure their systems are functional
- Assist with preparing all necessary assets for new hires
- Help create technical documentation and manuals
Requirements
Requirements and skills
- Proven 1-3 years work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer/Technician
- Technical or similar role Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows and VOIP systems
- Working knowledge of office automation products like printers and scanners
- Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
- Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Customer-oriented attitude
- Experience with AMS 360 a PLUS!
- BS in Computer Science or relevant field
