IT Business Systems Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW
Are you a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for improving business processes? Are you skilled at translating complex technical concepts into practical solutions? If so, we invite you to join our team as an IT Business Systems Analyst. In this role, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our organization's efficiency, productivity, and overall success.
Candidates on this position will be responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to support growth and efficiency by analyzing system requirements, calculating costs, establishing protocols and eventually helping companies maximize productivity and communication.
KEY JOB DUTY AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management:
- Manage projects related to system enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets.
- Define, develop and select project management template to define tasks, milestones, deadlines and track risks, decisions, and issues. Provide Weekly Status Reports and meetings with stakeholders to manage current action items and decisions.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the business requirements.
Conduct in-depth analysis of current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
System Design and Documentation:
Define project scope, develop clear business process flows, system dependencies and needs assessment. Create user stories and functional requirements.
Collaborate with the IT team to recommend and identify the optimal IT solutions and software selections to fulfill the business needs and deliver value to the company.
Build BRD, data flowcharts, system diagrams, and technical specifications.
System Integration:
Develop implementation project plan, work with key business stakeholders and all departments such as Sales, Marketing, Logistics, HR, Customer Service, Accounting, etc. to make sure the development and implementation of the project are executed correctly and following the timelines.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Plan and execute testing strategies to ensure system functionality and data accuracy.
Write user case test plan and coordinate with business users to complete the QC of the development.
Identify and resolve issues, bugs, or discrepancies through rigorous testing.
Change Management:
Assist in the development of change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new systems or processes.
Provide training and support to end-users during system rollouts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor system performance and gather user feedback to make ongoing improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements.
Specifications/Qualifications
Proven experience (8+ years) working as an IT Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong communication skills with expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating meetings, and supporting applications development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with expertise in business logic identification, business process flow improvement and backend data verification.
Proficiency in system analysis tools, methodologies, and documentation techniques.
Project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of other relevant software and technologies (e.g., ERP systems, CRM, WMS, TMS, API/EDI, data analytics tools) is a plus.
