Description:The Investment Operations Associate is a highly skilled support specialist that assists Trust Officers with middle office functions. Primary Responsibilities:Assisting Trust Officers with account termination process Assisting Trust Officers with unique asset pricingTransferring marketable securities including, but not limited to Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds and cash for on-boarding clientsTransferring assets between internal accountsPurchasing, redeeming and processing dividends on bank CDsManual shadow posting, loading and reconciling automated data feed for shadow accountsCreating and distributing various reports to Trust OfficersAdjusting cost for correct cost basis reportingProcessing back up withholdingRequirements:1-3 years of Financial Industry experience supporting wealth management professionals and/or experience in a law office supporting trusts and estatesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesExcellent organizational, customer service and attention to detail skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to learn new or updated softwareAbility to handle confidential information with tact and discretionDependable and adaptable to changesMidwest Trust Company offers a varied portfolio of trust services to fit a wide array of customer needs.
