Investment Operations Associate (Remote)

Job Summary

Strategic View Advisors is looking for a new team member to join our operations department. We are looking for someone who can start immediately. This position is remote and would support our team in Los Angeles. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, self-initiated follow-through, and strong organizational skills.

Potential Working Hours

• 6am-3pm PST
• 7am-4pm PST
• 8am-5pm PST

Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to

Asset Movement

• ACH transfers, ACAT Transfers, Fed Wires, Check Deposits/Disbursements, Journals, Rollovers
• Processing year-end Required Minimum Distributions
• Processing IRA and qualified plan contributions
• 529 Contributions & Distributions

New Accounts

• Generating new account paperwork
• Generating investment proposals for advisory accounts
• Client Onboarding

Account Maintenance

• Beneficiary updates
• Trust updates
• Responding to compliance inquiries
• Updating client data and cost basis information

Client Service

• Paperwork delivery and follow up
• Verbal confirmations for brokerage trade execution and asset movement
• 401(k) Rollover Calls
• Client data requests
• Responding to client inquiries

Qualifications and Skills

• Series 7 & 63
• Life & Health insurance license preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of Investment Operations experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
• Proficient computer skills and excellent problem-solving skills
