POSITION SUMMARY: The Investigator is a member of the Investigations Team and responsible for conducting internal investigations of concerns and complaints companywide. These concerns and complaints may relate to alleged violations of law or Company policy, including concerns of discrimination, sexual and other prohibited harassment, retaliation, fraud, theft, claims related to environmental responsibility, and/or other violations of Company policy or alleged misconduct. The Investigator is involved in all phases of the investigation, including reviewing allegations, preparing the investigation plan, interviewing witnesses, reviewing relevant documents, drafting findings and conclusions, communicating with business partners, and documenting the investigation in HR Acuity.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts internal investigations of employee or third-party concerns
Independently leads and manages multiple comprehensive and complex investigations of employee concerns and complaints in compliance with established internal investigative procedures
Develops and maintains appropriate investigative documentation
Effectively and professionally communicates regarding investigation progress and findings
Provides recommendations for resolution of employee issues
Collaborates and partners cross-functionally with the Investigations Team, Human Resources, Legal Department and other business partners regarding investigations and processes and best practices to improve investigation efficiencies and effectiveness
Responds proactively to the tracking, trending, and analysis of employee relations issues across the Company
Performs other job-related duties as assigned or necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive prior experience performing Corporate or government-related investigations
Expansive knowledge of investigatory practices and procedures
Excellent communication, prioritization, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 3 years of experience performing investigations involving employee concerns; and/or
Minimum of 3 years of HR compliance or employment law experience, either in an HR role or representing and counseling corporate representatives regarding employee concerns.
