The Department of Real Estate regulates the sale of subdivisions, unsubdivided lands, timeshares, condominiums, membership campgrounds, and cemeteries.
The Department of Real Estate also approves and monitors pre-licensing instruction, testing and continuing education courses and oversees the activities of licensees, investigates complaints against licensees and land developers, and participates in administrative hearings pertaining to their conduct.

The Audits and Investigation Manager's role is to ensure compliance within lawful standards and regulations while fostering relationships with other departments and stakeholders to protect the public.
This role will be tasked with continually improving internal policies and procedures to uphold transparency and accountability in financial reporting and investigative processes.
Key duties include conducting reviews and assessments of audits, investigative complaints and allegations while working collectively with Enforcement and Compliance needs.
Further, this position to supervise auditors and investigators work quality while providing collaborative learning sessions to improve the division's knowledge base.
Oversee the workload of the Audits and Investigation division and direct a team of auditors and investigators tasked with analyzing brokerage management operations, internal controls of accounting, and records throughout the examination and analysis of an Audit and Investigation
Provide support to division members facing intricate scenarios. As well as, being able to testify in the Office of Administrative hearings on behalf of the division for specialized cases or if an investigator/auditor is unavailable
Create and facilitate regular collaborative meetings for education and coaching with the entire Audit and Investigation team. As well, as facilitate regular coaching session with individuals within the division
Provide current updates and input to the Departments Executive team on Audit and Investigation topics, processes, and needs
Develop and Foster relationships with other departments, associations, and stakeholders to assist with protecting the public
Outreach when necessary in representation of Audits and Investigations in meetings, events, and customer interactions
Knowledge:
Arizona Revised Statute Title 32 Chapter 20. Arizona Administrative Code Title 4 Chapter 20
Trust Accounting, Property Management Experience, Real Estate brokerage Operations
Skill:
Provide positive Customer Service through any communication capacity
To show a willingness to adapt to required changes
Working in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite
Organize teams, work, and planning
Ability:
Ability to write effective reports for the purpose of the Office of Administrative hearings or Superior Court
Demonstrate the ability to provide a collaborative, productive team environment
Ability to learn and adapt to using custom software programs
Bachelor Degree, License, or Certifications in Real Estate, Business, Public Policy, or related discipline
If no degree a minimum of 3 years of customer service in a supervisory role
Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver license record checks, required to maintain acceptable driving records and complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.11)
Requires possession of and ability to retain a current, valid state-issued driver license appropriate to the assignment
