Specialized Experience GS-12: You may qualify for the GS-12 grade level, if you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level (obtained in either the public or private sector). Experience includes performing duties such as:
National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Foreign Education: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the qualification requirements. You must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private U.S. organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program. - Planning and executing misconduct and or Anti-harassment investigations.
- Knowledge of Federal laws and regulations.
- Producing draft and final reports of investigation for review of content, technical sufficiency, completeness, quality, validity, readability, and compliance.
- Conducting interviews of subjects, victims, and witnesses.
- Using information management programs, to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Using law enforcement databases and or familiar with data mining software such as CLEAR, Accurint, Court Link, Lexis Nexus.

- Identifying resources required for each investigation, including taskings to assist other investigative agencies.
- Conducting interviews of subjects, victims, and witnesses.
- Producing draft and final reports of investigation for review of content, technical sufficiency, completeness, quality, validity, readability, and compliance.
- Providing technical guidance in a wide variety of legal, operational, and administrative functions.
- Developing partnerships with internal and external officials and stakeholders in all levels of government to include Federal, State, and local enforcement agencies as well as the intelligence community and private sector.
