Job Description
Purpose: The Inventory Supply Specialist is responsible for helping coordinate the return of the Lingraphica loaner equipment. Once an asset is ready to be returned, the Inventory Supply Specialist’s job is to reach out to the SLP, caregivers, or patients to help coordinate the return of our loaner equipment. This position will include scheduling UPS pickups, sending packing materials as needed, and retiring loaner equipment if necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contacts and follows up with SLPs (Speech Language Pathologist), patients or caregivers to coordinate equipment return upon conclusion scheduled asset use.
- Assists other teams with locating and re-assigning loaner equipment as needed.
- Documents status of equipment in the appropriate systems
- Maintains consistent stock of inventory.
- Schedules UPS pickups of loaner equipment, as necessary.
- Tracks Inventory movement across all shipment initiatives.
- Assists with completing accurate daily records of goods received and shipments made.
- Assists with creating policies and procedures as needed.
- Uses computer technology consistent with duties and responsibilities, including Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive, RingCentral, and HubSpot
- Retires equipment as necessary due to theft, loss, age, or damage.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to work one on one and within a group.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems immediately.
- Exhibits the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-related departments.
- Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
- Proficient keyboarding skills
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- Experience with computerized inventory systems, strongly preferred.
Additional Information
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Incumbent primarily works remotely and is expected to maintain a productive work environment with secure internet access. You may commute to the Princeton, NJ office: work environment is that of a typical office environment. The noise level is low to moderate.
Travel
Travel to the Princeton, NJ office will be required at least once a week for inventory audits and receiving assets. You may also be required to travel to the Princeton, NJ office for company and department related meetings.
