Job Description:Inventory Specialist EGM - OnsiteThis associate is the person responsible for ensuring the accuracy of raw materials and packaging inventory transactions within the production floor and ensuring proper inventory accuracy business processes are being followed. To accomplish this, the associate is familiar with multiple systems (SAP Atlas, SRS, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), Nexus, etc.), and work with multiple audiences (LT, Value Stream leaders, R&D, S&F, system functional experts as well as end users). This role provides the first level of support for Data & Inventory Control questions and is responsible for monitoring site business process conformance and implementing process continuous improvements.What are we looking for? Bachelors degree in Sciences and/or Logistics preferred or applicable work experience.3 + years of relevant work experience in operations, scheduling and/or logistics related environment.Expertise in managing inventories, WIP, BOMs, Recipes, using SAP and/or troubleshooting system transactional errors is a plus. What will be your key responsibilities? Ensures accuracy of site inventoryResponsible for performing cycle count and auditing the inventory accuracy of raws/packs at the site ensuring that proper inventory business processes are being followed.Ensures proper orchestration of Inventory Management systems at a site including:SAP inventory and waste accuracyMonitors consumption transactions process flow.Creates and manages inventory locations in SAP Atlas as well as physical labeling.Owns Atlas inventory reportingBOM understanding for accuracy and corrective actionsLead weekly inventory meeting for follow ups and accountabilityCreates raw materials shelf-life extension concessionsManages cycle counts based on Mars policyCreates write off transactions and cross charge requests as neededVerifies WIP cleanup and initiates problem-solving activities, ensuring that errors are corrected by the appropriate associates and that understanding is gained about standard processes.Analyzes transactional/BOM problems and is proactive at initiating improvements.Provides end user training on SAP transactions, consumption, and waste management.Coordinates weekly cycle counts and is responsible for full annual cycle counts.
