Job Overview:
The Inventory Control Specialist primary duties are to maintain the company’s inventory, pricing agreements, running reports, and transferring product between locations to fulfill purchase agreement.
Reports to:
Chief Financial Officer
Responsibilities include:
- Create and maintain cost purchase agreements
- Update retail pricing and discounts as needed
- Enter new items into system
- Maintain and correct current skus
- Create and maintain scan agreements
- Create and maintain monthly purchase agreements
- Participate in monthly buy meetings with vendors
- Run reports and push products out to stores to ensure purchase agreements are fulfilled
- Create purchase orders and transfers as needed
- Maintain weekly sales report
- Assist stores with any receiving issues
- Other duties as assigned
Strong analytical skills and excellent at problem-solving- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well while meeting deadlines
- Basic understanding of Inventory Control procedures
- Ability to develop professional relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Able to use Microsoft applications, proficient excel skills required
- Organized and detail-oriented
