Fair Logistics was founded in 2007 and started in Birmingham, Alabama with a focus in medical device logistics. This focus allowed us to learn the medical device supply chain to the extent our goal quickly became to be an indistinguishable extension of our clients. As we grew our footprint and expanded further in the healthcare industry, it became evident that we could provide our services to more than just medical device distributors and we quickly grew into the medical delivery field specializing in Orthopedics and surgical kits. POSITION SUMMARY
- Assist team with daily activities in the inventory department.
- Evaluate the selection and shipping process and work to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain professional working relationships with sales representatives throughout the servicing area.
- Oversee inventory and order additional products and supplies when needed.
- Evaluate the selection and shipping process and work to improve efficiency.
Keep up to date with industry trends and update inventory as needed.
Assist with incoming and outgoing products that may be expiring and may need to be replaced.
PAY STRUCTURE
$20.00 per hour | Weekly Pay | W-2
SHIFT DAYS & TIMES
Monday-Friday | 7:00a to 4:00p | *NO WEEKENDS*
Job Description
Run reports to track expiring product in the field. Order and check in needed expiring replacements for territories. Help the inventory team with other needs such as going to hospitals, shipping products, and miscellaneous computer tasks. Maintain up to date information on new sales representatives that are entering the territory or leaving. Build relationships with sales representatives to provide a better insight on how we can support them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must live in Houston, TX or a surrounding area.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must have the physical ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs.
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Office Suite with specific knowledge of inventory system and Excel spreadsheets as well as Windows Operating Systems.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be a team player and professional in all settings.
- Must be on time, dependable, ethical and possess high integrity.
- Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and a hard work ethic.
- Must possess adaptability and flexibility.
- Must have a fully functioning smartphone.
- Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- If hired, you must pass a background check.
