Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for performing inventory control activities and keeping track of product input and output.

What you'll do:
- Assist in inventory monitoring and investigations, analysis of discrepancies and irregularities.
- Enter data for quantities of various items in warehouse issued and transferred between locations, inventory, and cycle count adjustments into computer database.
- Follow daily cycle counts as requested by supervisor.
- Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired.
- Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights.
- Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventories.
- Receive count/verify incoming orders as requested.
- Process damaged or defective stock.
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with supervisors and management.
- Document discrepancies between inventory records and physical stock.
- Record inventory data manually/electronically on computer.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Forklift experience required.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communicate skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with teams.
- Ability to prove dependability and attendance.
- Must have strong math and computer skills.
- Ability to analyze information gathered to identify potential problems or discrepancies.
- Willing to work weekends, holidays or different shifts when needed to ensure the business is operational 24/7
- Must be able to repetitively lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds.
- Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, and squatting. Also, frequent reaching over shoulder, waist level and from the floor.
