Job Description
We are seeking to hire a Inventory Manager within our Logistics team!
The purpose of this role is to ensure Phillip Jeffries is optimizing stock levels, minimizing losses, and supporting the organizations overall supply chain objectives. This role will report to our Warehouse Manager and will be onsite Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
What you will be doing:
Inventory Maintenance
- Ensuring daily cycle counts are being performed and all related transactions are completed.
- Research, document and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Track and report all non-conforming product
- Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to optimize location and
item level accuracy. - Maintain inventory slotting in accordance with PJ guidance of velocity.
Inventory Reconciliation
- Ensuring time inventory reconciliation of onsite and offsite inventories
- Maintaining and creating inventory reports that track inventory accuracy and levels
- Ensure inventory cycle counters are effectively managing cycle counts and performing
adjustments accordingly
Customer impacting Resolution
- Determining the root cause for inventory discrepancies
- Reporting to the operations teams any issues that cause customer issues
- Suggesting corrective actions on any issues that causes inventory discrepancies
Leadership
- Leading a team of cycle counters to drive departmental excellence and maintain inventory
accuracy - Be a role model for the inventory team and provide an excellent example of expected job
performance and company culture. - Mentor and cultivate growth among the team and drive an attitude of problem solving and
teamwork
Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in inventory management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
