Job description

You will serve as an INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the ORNANCE SUPPORT DIVISION of NMC DET PATUXENT RIVER MD.Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS - 05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience conducting extensive and exhaustive research for required information and reconstructing records of complex ordnance transactions.
  • Experience conducting reconciliation of ordnance transaction, inventory, inspection/audit, and scanner discrepancies.
  • Experience with ammunition directives, manuals and regulations.
  • Experience conducting extensive and exhaustive research; to include reconstructing records of complex ordnance transactions.
  • Experience with security and safety regulations governing the movement, storage and documentation of sensitive ordnance and components.
  • Experience with automate computer supply systems and ordnance databases such as Ordnance Information System-Retail (OIS-R).
  • Experience compiling reports and charts to document methods, premises and conclusions.
  • Experience with the Detachment ordnance load plan, and the capability to analyze stock levels to determine overages or shortages.
  • Experience identifying, verifying and correcting discrepancies on the Detachment load plan.
