As we continue to rapidly grow, we have an opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our operation at Taylor Farms Southern California as a Logistics Coordinator, located in Ontario, California.
Position will be responsible for daily cycle counts in the warehouse and production inventory locations. Holding the department accountable with data driven investigations and results. Root Causes will need to be identified if there are any discrepancies during the cycle counts and will need to address them with the corresponding employees. Position will help establish and sustain best practices for inventory to ensure we meet our inventory accuracy target of 98.6%. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, with experience in inventory analysis, and a background in manufacturing and warehouse operations.
Pay Range: $23/ hr
Status: Hourly, Fulltime
Days of the Week Needed: Sunday-Thursday, weekends and holidays.
Shifts:
- 1 St 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Work Hours: 8 hours possible OT
Key Responsibilities:
· Follow all Covid-19, Safety, Allergen Controls, Food Safety & Sanitation, Food Defense, and SQF policies and procedures relating to job duties.
- Daily cycle counts
- End of Month Inventory
- Maintain inventory is in FEFO.
- Supporting warehouse lead with day-to-day operation as needed.
- Weekly direct observations of warehouse process’s
- Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies with data driven results.
- Report out Inventory Accuracy on a weekly basis.
· Addressing problems in supply and delivery and finding appropriate solutions
- Timely product cycle counts within a 4-week period.
- Accurately receive and process incoming goods
- Maintain and verify inventory labels, correct item number, slotting.
- Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation of material handling equipment.
Responsible for keeping work area clean and safe always.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3-year prior warehouse/ distribution experience preferred
- 3-years in inventory leadership
- 3-years of sit down/stand up(reach) forklift experience preferred
- 2-years of electric pallet jack experience preferred
- 3-year WMS, Inventory, RF Scanner experience
- 3-years of Microsoft office experience: Outlook and Excel
Physical demands and abilities:
- Intermediate mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Microsoft office Skills: Outlook and Excel
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
- Ability to use RF scanner.
Physical demands:
- Frequently lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Adjust body position to bend, twist, stoop, squat, pivot.
- Walk and stand for long periods of time.
