Summary/Objective
This position, which may vary depending on specific job assignment, performs random or system-generated cycle counts and quality audits of locations and key warehouse job activities performed during Inbound and Outbound operations while meeting safety, quality, productivity, attendance and behavioral expectations. Effectively and efficiently uses established procedures, tools, equipment (including RF Scanners and material handling equipment) and technologies to complete assigned tasks.
Essential Functions
- Receive and place purchase orders for material transferred or placed with vendors
- Report daily metrics related to inventory accuracy
- Research the history of physical and systemic goods movement between stores
- Monitor areas of potential loss and report to manager
- Safely operate material handling equipment, fork lifts, golf carts, etc.
- Keep warehouse, work areas and yard clean and organized
- Ability to perform physical inventory and audit
- Locate goods within the warehouse, yards or stores
- Unload and stocking of material received
- Maintain a high level of customer service by communicating with sales and management staff on where to find specific materials and answering all other questions.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an indoor/outdoor setting. The employee may be required lift 50 pounds and operate a fork lift. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Position is 40 hours with possible overtime. Must be available 6am-6pm Monday through Friday with occasional weekends as needed.
Travel
Local travel is minimal.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity of email, google drive, Microsoft word
Preferred Education and Experience
- Forklifts and Golf Carts
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) Preferred, not required
