SUMMARY
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the overall monitoring and maintaining of Incab America’s (IAL) inventory levels by tracking usage of raw and finished materials and by processing and tracking purchase orders and changes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following:
- Daily use of IAL's verification system to ensure all label information corresponds with all other IAL systems.
- Ensures all shipped items are properly documented and updated in IAL systems.
- Responsible for taking detailed photos of all inbound and outbound items and noting any damaged or inaccurate shipments.
- Sends out daily updates to Production, Project, and Sales Teams as appropriate to notify them of received products, inventory transactions, and shipments.
- Performs cycle counts, physical receiving of products, system receiving of products, and product shipping.
- Responsible for setting up the inventory and warehouse systems (inventory sheets, inventory locations, etc.).
- Maintains an organized and efficient inventory management system in both paper and electronic formats.
- Controls inventory of finished goods needed to fulfill forecasted sales and scheduled distribution plans.
- Monitors and updates master schedule to reflect inventory turnover, stocking decisions, forecasting, and administrative controls.
- Minimizes inventory discrepancies by utilizing inventory systems and generating audit reports.
- Analyzes inventory levels, production speed, product demand, and shipment schedules.
- Performs routine inventory verification as directed by the Materials Manager.
- Other duties as assigned by Materials Manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years’ experience working in ERP, WMS, SAP inventory systems.
- 2+ years’ working in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferably 1-3 years of forklift operation experience.
- Basic literacy with computers and electronic devices; including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and various other digital formats and editing tools.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Experience in ERP, SAP, QuickBooks, Monday.com, Order time systems.
- Experience with receiving, shipping, inventory, vendor return, RMA methods.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license, required.
- Works well under pressure in a team, striving to provide clear and timely updates on work status.
- Must be creative, take initiative, be able to prioritize and negotiate priorities, maintain a hands-on approach, and multi-task.
- Able to work on weekends as needed with short notice (viz., 1-2 days).
