ABOUT THE ROLE
The Inventory Control Representative is responsible for maintaining control of the inventory of assigned warehouses by performing ongoing review and analysis; coordinating the transportation of goods between customer and/or warehouses; and for providing customer service for both internal and external stakeholders. This is an office-based role located in Roland Food's New Jersey office.
As a response to the pandemic, Roland Foods office employees have transitioned to a hybrid working schedule, requiring employees to report in-person Tuesday through Thursday, with the option to telework on Monday and Friday each week. Due to the collaborative, cross-functional nature of the organization, employees at the NY and NJ offices are required to work in person for the abovementioned days, outside of any People & Culture-approved disability accommodation request.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process all BOLs, Transfer Orders and Invoices via Microsoft D365
- Manage 3PL warehouse ensuring all orders, issues and requests are processed within a timely manner
- Review inventory daily for discrepancies and investigate all discrepancies prior to making any required adjustments
- Process all ship confirm errors, transfer order errors and inventory adjustment errors
- Provide non EDI and non WMS warehouses with required paperwork to fulfill orders
- Develop relationship with 3PL customer service reps
- Escalate any issues to Team Lead and Manager
- Process any Returns via RMA or an ARMA
- Work closely with various internal departments in Roland Foods and foster relationships
- Complete any assigned special projects
- Ability to have a flexible schedule for special assignments and end of quarter tasks
- Available for late night and weekend work for annual physical inventory and/or as needed
- Maintain all warehouse paperwork using a scanner and SharePoint
- Learn new processes as needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong and highly accurate data entry skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- Microsoft D365 knowledge a plus
- Flexible and adaptative to changing and deadline-driven environment
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
- Detailed oriented
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
SALARY RANGE
Roland Foods hires exceptional people to perform a wide variety of important functions that contribute to the success of the Company. One of the ways Roland Foods does that is through a competitive compensation package. The base salary for this role will be $45,000 - $55,000.
Based on your qualifications, previous experience, and transferrable skills, the Company will determine at its sole discretion the salary offered.
