- Manage the Central Fill facility's drug inventory according to established budget by managing the on-hand inventory levels to established parameters, minimizing inventory shrink by placing purchase orders, maintaining proper storage of drug inventory, receiving inventory and ensuring accurate product receipt, and assisting with discrepancy resolutions

- Establish process controls by monitoring drug inventory within pharmacy computer system and placing the drug order daily

- Perform system driven inventory cycle counting activities and completed order processing

- Ensure drug product integrity by pulling expired medication from inventory and process through D&O and/or Hazardous Waste procedures, in addition to processing recalls

- Review the previous day’s adjustments to ensure inventory in the system is correct and review production reports for the facility to minimize prescription rejections and maximize efficiencies

- Investigate inventory that shows as available in the system but cannot be found in the facility and invalid/problem pallets; determine corrective action to be taken

- Assign merchandise to a pick location in the Central Fill Facility; measure the size of new items; ensure there is the proper capacity to hold all items; perform verifications to ensure all items are slotted correctly

- Ensure Corporate profit goals are met by managing preferred formulary within the Central Fill and take appropriate actions

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)
Preferred
Warehouse experience required.
- NJ Pharmacy Technician Registration in active status or applied for within 10 days of hire required
