We are looking for an experienced hands-on Inventory Control Associate. This role is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day Inventory Control-related duties, ensuring all steps necessary in an accurate, timely, and effective manner, and assisting the Warehouse Management team in organizing, planning, and implementing Inventory Control-related procedures.
```Responsibilities:```
1) Review receiving documents, including invoices and packing slips to ensure accurate quantity counts in a timely & effective manner
2) Verify all items received are labeled with SKU, UPC, and description according to the brand’s specific requirements and if not, execute correct labeling ASAP
3) Efficient stocking/storing of goods in location, including assigning locations to new products within the WMS
4) Efficient stocking/storing of return merchandise, according to each client’s instructions, into the appropriate status location in the warehouse (back to stock, unsaleable, or scrap)
5) Examine daily the levels of picking locations and supplies to determine the need for product replenishment
6) Ensure the accuracy of all inventory transactions and maintain records of all stock locations
7) Instruct team in all Inventory Control processes according to clients’ needs and update processes if required
8) Monitor Inventory Control processes and document all procedures to maintain all equipment and tools
9) Lead cycle counts to ensure consistency & accuracy. Identify any operational problems in inventory.
10) Monthly cycle count of inbound receiving locations to ensure product movement within WMS
11) Cycle counting of stock locations weekly/monthly or as needed
12) Assists with all physical inventory processes as required
13) Assist with other duties as assigned
```Requirements:```
1) Must be able to reliably commute to Edison NJ.
2) Two to four years of knowledge and experience in warehouse operations best practices.
3) High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
4) Strong Inventory Control and order processing experience
5) Strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
6) Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
7) Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
8) Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9) Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels with diverse backgrounds.
10) Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
11) Frequently required to stand.
12) Frequently required to walk.
13) Continually required to sit.
14) Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
15) Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
16) Continually required to talk or hear.
17) Continually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard.
18) Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
