Job description

Our Warehouse Inventory Control Investigator plays a vital role in ensuring the highest quality and safety standards of our pharmaceutical products. Once you complete our training, your responsibilities will include conducting and writing shipping complaints, and inventory IR’s. This individual will work cross-functionally with Direct Distribution and various support groups to investigate root causes, implement effective corrective and preventative actions. The incumbent will work with department leadership to ensure investigations and deviation objectives are completed in a timely manner. The incumbent will be the primary investigator of complex root cause analysis supporting deviations that may require independent CAPAs. What the Warehouse Inventory Control Investigator Does Each Day:

  • Creates and maintains production job orders for operations based on master schedule and production plan including intermediate transferred materials and finished product
  • Monitors inventory to reduce waste, prevent production schedule changes/shortages/stoppages
  • Assembles and analyzes data pertinent to inventory management, material planning, performance to plan, and ERP system transactional accuracy
  • Leads finance and logistics staff in resolving invoicing discrepancies with suppliers, carriers, and reviews final invoices for payment approval
  • Managing multiple priorities either independently or as part of a team to meet key deadlines and communicate issues and progress across all levels of the organization
  • Assist in cycle counts; weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually, discrepancy resolution and inventory inspection
  • Responsible for conducting investigations, and writing shipping complaints, and Inventory IR’s
  • Responsible for investigating root causes and implementing effective corrective and preventative actions
  • Reporting in QMS meetings details regarding shipping complaints, and inventory IR’s
  • Maintaining CS log
  • Assist in yearly physical inventory for both facility wide inventory, and end of year CS inventory
  • Participates in the training process and coaching of new team members and processes
  • Helps assist with metric reporting and workload to meet the team’s priorities

Our Most Successful Warehouse Inventory Control Investigators:

  • Have expert knowledge of DEA & FDA regulatory requirements as well as all applicable QuVa SOPs
  • Working knowledge of safety standards, and their application, to continuously improve the safety culture and metrics
  • Ability to communicate compliance requirements
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities based upon priorities and criticality of issues.
  • Demonstrated Time-Management skills
  • Experience with cycle counting
  • Defines performance goals and measures performance against the objectives
  • Master Control Software a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Minimum Requirements for this Role:

  • Associate degree
  • Able to successfully complete a drug and background check
  • 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Material Planning, or other relative work experience
  • Experience with authoring, writing, and leading deviation investigations
  • Incumbents will be required to successfully complete in-house certification programs
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work extended and flexible hours (including weekends) when needed
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visas
