We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, skilled Inventory Control specialist who will also assist our Operations Manager with tasks as needed. You will be responsible for the purchasing and distribution of parts as a primary role. You will have 100% control over the warehouse which will be held to high standards of organization. You will be a direct representation of company values and the rest of the Innova team. A professional demeanor and appearance must always be maintained in person and in all forms of communication while interacting with coworkers, clients, and other trades.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Purchase parts in line with the operations manager and our operating system
- Receive and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, assigning them to correct jobs, and distributing packages and letters within the company
- Keep logs of received shipments and prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for the operations manager
- Keep safety stocks of the main running parts
- Strive to reduce our current inventory to safe levels using a min max system within D Tools (our operation system)
- Check and respond to emails in your inbox within two business hours of the time they are received
- Unpack and label shipments as they arrive
- Manage inventory sheets and enter/remove stock from the stock control system
- Process returns and create RMA’s within 24 hours of return from job
- Work with Operations to keep wire stock levels maintained
- Work with Operations and Service to maintain stock levels of parts, and order as necessary and directed
- Break down and recycle cardboard boxes daily as shipments arrive and are unpacked
- Work alongside the operations manager on part shortages and find solutions to site shortages
- Permits/Submittals
- Care of Monitoring Accounts
- Job Closeouts
- Assist service technicians as directed by the operations Manager
- Perform troubleshooting with clients as directed by the operations Manager
- Answer incoming calls and route to appropriate party
- Job Preparation documentation
- Other duties as apparent or assigned
Job Qualifications
- 2-5 years of work experience in a similar or applicable role
- Experience in service industry or manufacturing a plus
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Must be an initiative-taker and driven
- Proficiency with quick books and Microsoft Office products are a requirement
- Skilled in time management, self-starting, and able to anticipate the needs of
the executive staff
- Comfortable presenting to the senior team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility, including occasional availability to be responsive to email in off-hours and weekends
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Professional demeanor and presentation
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
- Clean driving record and valid Driver’s License
