The Role

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controls Analyst to support Ampere’s Inventory processes. This role will embed controls, drive continuous improvement, process automation, and inventory accuracy. This position will be responsible for ensuring system transactions are performed real time with inventory movement. They will partner closely with the rest of the Manufacturing Operations team (most notably Planning & Logistics) and Finance to ensure Inventory processes are in control, sustainable and repeatable.

Ampere’s inventory team supports Ampere’s products and customer needs in a growing and challenging environment.  You will have the opportunity to assess, develop and manage controls over global inventory management to support a diverse customer base.  We are a driven and growing team supporting chip and platform inventory and distribution with a startup attitude and are the frontline support for a company focused on changing the landscape in the datacenter.

What You’ll Do:

•    Drive process documentation and improvements
•    Review, analyze, and understand inventory
•    Inventory process improvements and controls implementation
•    Support the cycle count or any physical count process established
•    Be able to identify and understand issues as they arise, correct them, and perform root-cause analysis to implement corrections as needed
•    Inventory Reconciliations and provide support for them
•    Analyze and resolve instances of discrepant inventory
•    Partner with supplier to understand all stages of inventory how it is reported and managed
•    Support Inventory Controls Manager as necessary

What You’ll Bring: 

•    2+ years of inventory experience
•    2+ years of controls and analysis
•    Ability to work independently within a team environment
•    Strong experience with data and analytics
•    Proficient in NetSuite or ability to learn any systems quickly and efficiently
•    Attention to details

Education:

•    Bachelors in Finance, Operations Management, Business, or related field

Pay and Benefits

Ampere offers a competitive total rewards package that includes base pay, bonus, stock, and comprehensive benefits. The full base pay range for this role is between $80,000 and $133,000, except in the San Francisco Bay Area where the range is between $90,000 and $150,000. We also offer an annual bonus program tied to internal company goals and annual meritocratic stock awards that enable our employees to participate in the success of the company.
