Summary: 

As the Senior Inventory Control Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, and supporting the successful implementation of a new ERP system. Having a strong background in Inventory Control and technologies, you will use your extensive knowledge to recommend improvements to current growing techniques, effectively manage a team, and collaborate with other operational leaders to meet company, division, and location goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Manage Production and Storage of Raw Materials and Finished Products

  • Develop and implement Inventory Control strategies and policies to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee inventory replenishment, forecasting, and demand planning.
  • Monitor inventory turnover rates and take action to minimize excess stock and stockouts.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain data accuracy.
  • Negotiate vendor contracts and terms to optimize inventory costs.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to monitor inventory performance and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate inventory KPIs and insights to senior management.

Production Planning: Manage Inventory and Workforce to Balance Supply and Demand

  • Continuously assess and enhance Inventory Control processes, implementing best practices to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Streamline workflows and minimize manual interventions in inventory management.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align inventory strategies with customer demands.
  • Lead the integration of a new ERP system into the organization's existing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure seamless data migration.
  • Train staff on ERP system usage and provide ongoing support.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Leadership: Guide and Impact Outcomes through Training and Enablement of Team Member’s Professional Growth

  • Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times. 
  • Create a working environment that prioritizes team member growth and provides opportunities for training and advancement.
  • Ensure that Team Members work in compliance with established safe work practices and procedures. 
  • Develop best practices regarding inventory management and use acquired data to set goals, monitor output, analyze areas of improvement, and store data for future use.
  • Develop operational KPIs annually, ensuring continual monitoring, analysis of data, and course correction when necessary. 

What You Bring to Pacific Seafood:

Required

  • 5+ years of Inventory Control experience.
  • Strong experience with vendor negotiations.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in Inventory Control and supply chain management
  • Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
  • Proven Track record of successfully implementing ERP Systems.
  • Experience in SAP and AS400.

Salary Range: $91,562 - $115,368 Annually
