Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures Marketing is the global marketing arm of The Walt Disney Studios. Our business is responsible for the creative advertising, research, media, publicity, and promotion of theatrical and streaming properties released by the Walt Disney Studios: Disney Live Action, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Disney Animation, Pixar, DisneyNature, 20th Century Studios, Star Original and Disney+.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in creative collaboration with International Creative team to create and execute campaigns, which include one sheets, in-theatre, outdoor creative, mall exhibits, living one sheets, Trailers, TV spots, creative content, Disney+ content, and bespoke materials as needed by markets, from concept through production and finishing
Support team with queries for market feedback, deliverable quantities and the management and shipment of products to markets
Ensure all versions, layouts and files received from vendors/partners are placed on the server promptly and in an organized fashion
Manage title submissions including the approval and creation of local titles – supplied to all lines of business across the company
Work alongside the team to secure approvals from the legal and music teams, talent reps, internal stakeholders, etc.
Utilize SmartSheet to track Trailers, TV spots, Creative Content and their delivery dates
Collaborate with domestic and localization teams to manage assets including, unit photography, viz dev art, special shoot, stock photography and footage, needed to build and finish creative
Manage materials calendar, including in-house databases, generate reports and communicate to the markets and other teams the available materials and delivery schedules
Liaise and communicate with internal departments, including Domestic, Marketing Strategy, Promotions, Digital, Publicity, Cinema Partnerships, Trailer Localization team, etc. for global consistency and sharing of materials
Manage asset uploads, user access, and troubleshooting for territory requests
Handle all invoices by processing and tracking payments and spending in a timely manner
Support team with special projects as needed
Carry out administrative duties as needed.
Assist with travel arrangements such as booking flights, cars, and hotel reservations.
Process expense reports as needed.
Along with other department coordinators, ensures operation of equipment (i.e. printers) by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques. Order and maintain supply inventory, anticipating needs, placing and expediting supply orders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in Print and A/V Creative Advertising a must.
At least 1 year of experience in Creative Advertising, Marketing, Design or related area within the entertainment industry - International experience a plus!
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Keynote, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Basic understanding of print files, print production, video formats, codecs and audio configurations
Experience with data management systems and file sharing software
Understanding of creative and visual storytelling
Experience partnering with external agencies/vendors to execute creative vision
Must be a self-starter, requiring minimal direction and showing resourcefulness
Must be able to multi-task, accept changes readily and be flexible in adapting to re-prioritized tasks
Ability to work well individually, while also collaborating with the larger group
Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
Flexible and willing to work overtime as needed due to projects or international schedules
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $57,000 - $73,600 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
