Coordinator, Sync (Creative)

Downtown Music Publishing is looking for a Coordinator, Sync (Creative) to join our Creative Sync department. Your focus will be on assisting in all areas of creative synchronization, coordinating the audio upload management process, and providing administrative support for Downtown Music Publishing's extensive catalog.
This on-site position is based in our Los Angeles location.
What you'll do:

• You will act as the first point of contact for Downtown clients and Downtown sync partners on audio delivery and on any release priorities
• You will track, organize, and collect all inbound audio delivery and its metadata from clients, manage scheduling of uploads to Downtown's internal site, and manually upload audio for the sync team as needed
• Verify splits, metadata, and other related rights with clients and internal departments ie copyright and client services
• Work closely with the sync team on prioritizing audio
• Assist the sync team with briefs, coordinating assets for sync newsletters, contributing to newsletter copy when needed, and market research
• Maintain the film and tv production spreadsheets
• Schedule calls for the Sync team with clients as needed

You are / have:

• Have at least 1-2 years experience working or interning at a music publisher, record label, pitching company, PRO, or any other relevant experience.
• Have a clear passion for music and an interest and/or general understanding of sync
• Have an understanding of music trends, new artists/songwriters, and genres throughout the decades
• You are naturally curious and proactive and you like to figure out ways to resolve problems as well as improve existing processes and systems
• You are organized and detail oriented and can prioritize multiple tasks
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are comfortable communicating with clients over the phone and in person

Downtown provides base salary ranges for all positions located in the United States at the time of posting. The hiring range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually. As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon various factors including, but not limited to, work experience, geographic location and relevant skills. Downtown is committed to providing a comprehensive market-competitive total rewards program for its employees which includes medical, dental, and vision, life insurance, 401(k) match and generous paid time off. This range does not include any other variable compensation components.
