The Leadership Excellence Achievement Program (LEAP) encompasses LPL's early talent initiatives by offering a 10-week, paid summer internship and full-time entry level programs to promote the next generation of leaders. LEAP offers internships to sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students across all of LPL's corporate functions. These business units include:

What You'll Do

• Our interns are treated as valued team members from day one and contribute to real-world projects tailored to their interests while contributing to business unit demand
• Gain hands-on experience applying the executive Social Media strategy and being part of our ongoing transformation into a best-in-class Social Media operation
• Assist in the production of Social Media content and helping to manage the social calendar and deliverables of assets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Brand, Creative, PR, Social Media & Analytics to creatively scale out social work through owned channels.
• Research and dive into our competitors social presences/strategies while surfacing takeaways & lessons that could be implemented in our social strategy
• The possibility to get to know us as an employer and experience our working culture up close through our summer programming events.

What You'll Bring

• Organization and strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ambition with the ability to learn, grow and contribute to business process
• Graphic design and/or writing/editing/proofreading
• Interest in one component of social strategy, community mangement, analytics, handles, campaigns, real time moments, events paid production or creative
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

What is the summer internship schedule?

• Full- time program for 10 weeks in the summer of 2024; Monday through Friday during day-shift for 40 hours a week
• Dependent on team needs, work locations could be remote, hybrid or in office (Austin, Boston, Charlotte, San Diego)
• Semester system dates: 6/3/24 - 8/9/24
• Quarter system dates: 6/17/24 - 8/23/24

• Positions offered are for full time work at 40 hours per week

• Also, you will need to obtain an approved I-120 (Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status) for CPT employment

Hourly Rate:
$22.00-$25.00
The hourly amount is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant's skill, experience, and work location.
