What you'll do
Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the development and maintenance of our Internal Communications function, aiding in driving employee engagement and understanding of company-wide initiatives
• Contributing to the management of diverse internal communication channels and tools, such as our corporate digital workplace, videos, webinars, podcasts, and exploring innovative communication methods
• Collaborating on the oversight and administration of Marmon's internal digital workplace, ensuring its effectiveness aligns with communication goals
• Providing support in coordinating internal communication cycles for areas like compensation, learning and development, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
• Participating in the planning and execution of strategic communications, aligned with business objectives, under the guidance of key leaders

Content Creation: create high-quality content, including articles, blog posts, videos, and other materials that align with our brand voice and resonate with internal audiences
Metrics and Measurements of Success: your progress will be measured through factors like improved engagement metrics, increased utilization of internal communication platforms, and constructive feedback from your team and leadership
Cross-functional Collaboration: engage with cross-functional teams including HR, Marketing, Continuous Improvement, Innovation, and IT to contribute to the overall alignment of communication efforts with the organization's broader mission
Change Management and Crisis Communication: learn to navigate change management and crisis communication scenarios, gaining valuable experience in maintaining effective communication during challenging times
Global and Multicultural Communication Exposure: develop your skills in communicating across diverse cultures and time zones, contributing to Marmon's global outreach
Innovation and Skill Development: stay attuned to evolving communication trends and technologies, actively participating in the exploration of new strategies to enhance our internal communication approaches
Collaboration and Professional Growth: work closely with experienced communication professionals, learning from their expertise and contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment
Crisis Communication Familiarity: gain familiarity with crisis communication best practices, playing a role in maintaining transparent and clear communication during challenging situations
What you'll bring to the role

• At least 1-2 years in corporate communications or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Enthusiasm and a passionate approach to communication and its role in achieving business success
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, showcasing an ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively
• Basic understanding of web and social media platforms, with a desire to develop proficiency
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
