Internal Billing Specialist #1769

We are seeking a qualified office professional to join the Finance team. The Internal Billing Specialist role works closely with internal staff and customers. The role will manage our Internal Billing system account setup for customers' Voice and Data Services, requiring a high degree of collaboration with other company functions. The ideal candidate will be a team player, detail-oriented, and have strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Location: Hybrid - Central, IL - 8-hour shift Monday - Friday

Salary: Up to $45K (potential to go higher based on experience)

Responsibilities Include:

• Set up and update internal customer accounts

• Process customer VOIP and Data billing requests for start billing, end billing, and change orders received from Order Management

• Track customer tax exemptions

• Set up POOL IDs to track customer usage on DIDs and Trunk Groups

• Assist in managing Trunk Groups

• Upload accounting and financial data

• Handle customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Experience in the Telecommunications industry.

• MS Office application experience including Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to utilize multiple software applications, including proprietary software

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Attention to detail

• Internal initiative to look for opportunities of improvement

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to remain professional and friendly at all times

• Excellent organizational skills

• Task prioritization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience

• Data entry experience

• QuickBooks Online experience
