Billing Specialist

• Knowledge and practical experience of QuickBooks Enterprise Solution, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Outlook, and Adobe are a must
• Practical experience in the data entry field is required

§ Medical billing experience and/ or certification is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily tracking and billing of wellness events
• Reconciliations of wellness events and patients’ data in a timely and accurate manner
• QuickBooks invoicing and coding data according to company procedures
• Insurance billing files generation and upload to the clearinghouse
• Research and reporting of discrepancies and exceptions
• Communicate with individual patients and within company departments to resolve reconciliation differences
• Reconciliation and correction of rejected insurance claims
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
