This internship is an exciting opportunity for MBA graduate students with a keen interest in Product Management to gain hands-on experience in assessing market needs, analyzing data products, and navigating the regulatory landscape of the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify and understand the market need for various data products within the energy and water industries.
- Evaluate potential data products that can be developed using a variety of utility data assets.
2. Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) Assessment:
- Define and quantify the Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) for each identified data product.
- Analyze market segments, customer profiles, and regional variations to determine market potential.
3. Regulatory Research:
- Investigate and document regulations impacting data sharing in the energy industry.
- Stay informed about evolving regulatory landscapes and their implications on our data-sharing platform.
4. Competitive Analysis:
- Research and analyze competitors in the data-sharing space within the energy and water industries.
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to inform our product strategy.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Product Management or related field.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Passion for sustainability and interest in the energy and water industries.
