Behavior Technician

Steps to Progress LLC helps children with autism achieve their potential through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We are looking for full-time and part-time (afternoons) applicants of any age, preferably with college degrees, who want to help children with autism develop the behavioral, social, and communication skills they need to be successful.

Steps to Progress pays for new employees to be trained to become Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) during the first month of employment.

Our staff work together as teams of RBTs and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide in-clinic and in-home ABA therapy. Our BCBAs provide ongoing support and training to our RBTs and are there every step of the way to help them excel and succeed.

We value our staff and appreciate the great work they do for children with autism. Our staff have lunch breaks and other breaks as needed throughout the day.

Requirements

• A desire to help children with autism
• College Degree Preferred, must have high school diploma
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn ABA techniques quickly
• Excellent rapport with children; experience working with children preferred
• Positive Attitude
• Reliability - At Work and On Time Every Day
• Driver’s License, Own Reliable Transportation, and Texas Required Auto Insurance

Benefits

• Starting Pay of $18 - $22/hr., depending upon RBT certification and prior experience.
• Work Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:30, averages 20 - 40 hours per week, depending upon whether you are full time or part time.
• Free training to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with full pay while in training. We pay all fees associated with the first RBT exam.
• We pay for travel time during the work day, mileage, and toll road fees for in-home and in-school sessions.
• We pay 75% of the cost for full time employees' medical, dental, and vision insurance
• 12 days of paid time off for full time employees during the first year plus 7 paid holidays; 15 days of PTO during the second year
• 401(k) after one year with company matching up to 4%
• Life Insurance and AD&D Insurance For Full Time Employees After 30 days - 100% paid by company
• Short Term Disability Insurance For Full Time Employees After One Year - 100% Paid By Company
