Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will own the development, design, and production of all art produced for print, video, and digital assets, collateral, and communications. This role will learn and implement design elements according to brand standards while building visually appealing and attractive copy as tasked by marketing leadership. The Graphic Designer will have a thorough knowledge of visual design systems, layouts, color theory, and typography with strong experience with digital design, illustration, and motion graphics to produce top rated visual media for web, e-commerce, social, print, and merchandise mediums. This role will also work with the Website Developer to ensure a visually appealing, user friendly, and SEO rich web experience. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work within brand standards and in a team environment.

As part of our team, your duties will include:

Animation:

• Experience in animation to build out training and informational presentations for in-house use
• GIF art for social, text, and email implementation

Static Art (Digital and Print):

• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
• Test graphics across various media
• Great sense of design hierarchy and layout
• Resize and produce art in various formats and file types for multiple use
• Photo Editing and touchups

Web and App Design:

• Understanding of effective and successful UI/UX layouts and strategies
• Ability to work in partnership with Web Developer
• Experience in both website design and proprietary smartphone application design

Videos:

• Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites
• Effectively communicate marketing objectives through visual storytelling, animation, cinematography and typography for various digital and static outputs
• Design, produce and edit video content for digital signage and marketing collateral

Photography/Videography:

• Experience taking professional looking photos and videos for commercial use is a plus
• Responsible for keeping track of usage rights for video and photo assets
• Responsible for managing photo and video release forms by models and actors

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design and video production
• Proficient in design and video software Adobe Suite
• Portfolio of proven track record of creative work
• Ability to support the needs of the marketing department as defined by the marketing strategy and special requests as needed.
• Ability to be a project manager for all assigned projects, efficiently meeting deadlines with quality outcomes
• Adhere to Brand Standards and guidelines
• Experience working directly with print vendors and versed in preparing design files for final print production
• Ability to "think outside of the sponge" and provide multiple options while being flexible and welcoming direction alterations to proofs/designs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
