Assists with providing computer hardware and software support for multiple Synthomer locations across North America.
What you'll own in this role...
- Troubleshoot issues with computers, printers, mobile devices and audio/visual equipment.
- Log tickets and thoroughly document actions taken.
- Provide support through multiple channels including phones, ITSM tool and Microsoft Teams
- Escalate unresolved tickets to the appropriate level 2 and 3 teams
- Complete all projects potentially assigned
- Help with new employee hardware and software setups
- Come into the office as necessary for specific tasks
What you'll need to be successful...
- General knowledge of PC hardware and software
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Solid record of academic achievement - minimum of 3.0 GPA
- Currently enrolled student majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Information Systems and must have completed the freshman year
- 0 - 1 years of experience
- Office environment, regular attendance is required.
Qualifications that can set you apart...
- Help Desk Support
- Experience with an ITSM or ticketing tool
- Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills required
- Must display maturity and a high level of professionalism
- Experience with troubleshooting computer / network issues is a plus.
