Design / Build Company in search of an Interior Designer to join our team. In your role, you create lasting relationships while assisting our clients with the selection and customization of materials, furnishings and structures. We are looking for an energetic employee to handle our fast-paced office. Skills required are Microsoft Outlook products (Word, Excel, Power Point). Must have a pleasant demeanor & speaking voice to answer phones and work with clients and vendors. Must be able to handle pressure and timelines. Team player with a can-do attitude is a must.
```Responsibilities```
-Visit job sites with Project Manager to analyze space availability, design needs and purpose of the space.
- Attend client meetings to take notes to understand the clients needs, wants and desires regarding interior styles and colors.
-Leading or assisting in initial design, color themes and ideas based on client requirements and space availability.
-Getting client approval on all selections presented.
-Overseeing the buying process of all raw materials and items required to complete the project.
-Continuous communication with client during project to keep them informed and updated.
-Arranging client visits and keeping everyone involved in the project appraised of its progress.
-Ensuring project completion within the allocated budget and timeline.
-Follow-up with vendors/suppliers to stay informed and meet target delivery dates.
-Assisting Owner/Team in daily administrative tasks, such as daily scheduling reminders, e-mails, note taking and filing as needed.

- Interior design and/or Kitchen & Bath design experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Communication skills that ensure a smooth flow of information between self and others through clear speaking and writing, encouragement of open expression of ideas, and effective listening.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, 2020, CAD, and SketchUp
- Exceptional organization, time management, customer service, project estimating and problem-solving skills. Ability to use time effectively and efficiently; can attend a broader range of activities; handles multiple demands and competing priorities effectively.
- Ability to draft detailed drawings and specifications
- Works well both independently and in groups of varying sizes
- Strong emphasis on quality in presentation skills - including space planning, renderings, etc.
