We are located just blocks from the beach, in the heart of Downtown Naples, in one of the most prestigious luxury residential design markets in the world! Our renowned award-winning Interior Design Firm is seeking a skilled, organized, talented professional with a proven track record, that thrives in a fast-paced successful environment.
Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design preferred, CAD expertise is a plus, and experience / internships in Interior Design a plus, to assist the team as they create extraordinary residential interiors, working with one of the most prestigious design firms in Naples, Florida.
Technical Skills Required in PC Based Platform:
Experience in all Microsoft Windows programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, as well as QuickBooks Pro software. AutoCAD LT for Windows a plus.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Support the Team in design administration, and design to maintain a productive working environment and facilitate successful design projects. The Design Assistant acts as a representative for the company with Vendors.
- Follow KDG project processes and procedures
- Utilize CAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, QuickBooks, Adobe and Outlook efficiently
- Work as a team member to support the company and assist in tasks necessary to help facilitate projects
- Maintain task list and issue daily e-mail updates to team and communicate status
- Attending meetings taking notes on company iPad documenting same, organizing denoting Action Items and updating Project Priorities list, implementing tasks for Design Assistant’s role
- Maintaining company iPads keeping fully charged and its whereabouts
- Assist with preparation of Power Point presentations for clients and projects
- Assist with CAD Documents to communicate designs: Space Planning, Furniture Placement
- Assist with CAD plans and specifications for projects
- Assist in review of Vendors Plans / Drawings and Quotes for Accuracy and aide in revisions
- Assist sourcing materials for projects and obtain specifications and product pricing
- Utilize Power Point / Excel to help produce accurate project documents [entering data accurately]
- Act as a liaison and or representative between Team, Designers, Clients and Vendors
- Communicate fully with Owner, Director of Operations and Studio Manager re: Clients and important office issues
- Assist with marketing, events and operations
- Assist with social media presence
- Keep studio well-presented and help maintain an organized work environment
- Assist in sending packages
- Obtain, maintain and return samples per design team needs
- Option to participate in industry networking events
- Assist to correspond and meet with Vendors / Manufacturers to learn about products and update library and pricing materials
- Help with market dates and arrangements and follow up
Compensation Package:
Starting Salary from $32,000 based on skills and experience.
