Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our team at Collins Builders Luxury Interiors. As an Assistant Interior Designer, you will be responsible for helping to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet our clients' needs and preferences. Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with lead designer in all design operations - conceptual, planning, detailing and execution of contract work and project management to completion.
Assist with the development and presentation of interior design concepts.
Contribute to the sourcing, procurement, and organization of materials, furnishings, and accessories for interior design projects.
Support the management of project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables/installations.
Assisting with admin support, resourcing, pricing and purchase orders.
Participate in site visits and client meetings, as required, providing essential support to the lead designer.
Manage and maintain organization of all Design Studio selections materials.
Perform administrative tasks to support project execution and studio operations.
Ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high-quality service to clients. Works well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadline. Must be able to multitask, strong follow up, complete tasks and prioritize work in a fun and energetic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Interior Design, or equivalent experience, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates design abilities.
NCIDQ certification, or the intent to achieve it.
Must have knowledge of state and local building codes, life safety codes, and other ordinances.
Must possess solid oral and written communications skills.
Knowledge and understanding of how to read and draw plans & elevations.
Proficiency in Microsoft, Excel, Powerpoint.
Knowledge and proficiency of AutoCAD.
Strong creative design, drawing skills.
Ability to think conceptually in terms of design.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
A keen eye for design, detail, and aesthetics, with a passion for creative problem-solving.
Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
