Intellectual Property Associate Attorney

Kunzler Bean & Adamson, PC is a Salt Lake City-based law firm with world-class capabilities in litigation, Intellectual Property, and corporate transactions. We are currently seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Intellectual Property Associate Attorney.

SUMMARY: The ideal attorney candidate will have 1-4 years of IP experience, preferably with trademark and patent cases. Excellent writing skills are a must, as are problem-solving, the ability to multi-task and communicate with clients, and a strong understanding of the USPTO.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Efficiently and competently research complicated legal issues
• Draft important legal documents including patents, licenses, and contracts.
• Conduct research and interviews to help with legal proceedings
• Collaborate with team members as well as the USPTO
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally
• Support clients directly
• Function well within a highly cohesive team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 to 4 years of IP experience
• J.D. from accredited, highly regarded, law school
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-service-driven law firm setting
• Desired skill set in: electrical, computer science, or software
