Job Details
Immediate employment opportunity for an Associate Attorney with at least two years of litigation and transactional experience in Construction Law. Candidates must have good academic credentials, excellent communication and writing skills, demonstrate a commitment to the highest ethical standards, be highly motivated and hard-working, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Preference will be given to candidates with an undergraduate degree and/or significant prior work experience in civil engineering, architecture, or constructions management. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Utah or be willing to become a member of the Utah Bar. If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, applicants must be a member of the Bar of another state in the U.S.

Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative proceedings primarily related to Construction Law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis related to Construction Law and litigation.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding Construction Law and related matters.
- Develop strategies for effective case management and litigation.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and support staff in the firm to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry trends related to Construction Law, and utilize this knowledge to advise clients and develop effective legal strategies.
- Participate in business development activities, including networking events, seminars, and conferences.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Utah State Bar (UT Bar).
- A minimum of 2 years of litigation and transactional experience in Construction Law.
