Position Overview:
Radcom is adding to our bench of qualified Instructional Designers interested in future project opportunities.
This position is remote / work from home. Most employment opportunities are project-based and temporary; however, full-time projects may be available. We have open positions on our bench for Instructional Designers with demonstrated skills conducting analysis, designing Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and/or Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), eLearning design, and development.
Ideal candidates will have strong Instructional Design experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in corporate instructional design is required. Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve are a must.
Radcom will consider candidates for both employment (W-2) and independent contractor (1099) opportunities. For W-2 employment, preference will be given to candidates in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Independent contractors may be outside of those states, but must be an established LLC with the IRS and carry the required amount of business insurance.
Key Functions:

• Independently conduct effective information-gathering interviews with users and subject matter experts;
• Plan, organize, design and/or develop quality instructional materials, including training plans, reference material, online help, training materials and other types of user assistance;
• Challenge the status quo and find innovative ways to approach training solutions and enhance overall effectiveness;
• Edit, proofread, and format materials using a variety of software tools;

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in related field or related work experience
• Approximately 3+ years of relevant experience in instructional design for companies
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and methodology, and their application in managing training delivery
• Expert in 2 or more software tools
• Strong writing skills in development of training and technical materials
• Ability to work in variety of environments
• Consulting experience a plus
