Position Summary:
The Instructional Designer (ID) is responsible for the creation of state-of-the-art learning activities and assessments while keeping each learning module relatable and effective. While working directly with the Learning & Development (L&D) team, the ID will provide instructional and program design expertise for developing adult learning resources.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Create cutting-edge trainings that will enhance the experience for the learner
- Partner with L&D specialists, L&D manager, and Subject Matter Experts to target training needs
- Design and develop in-person and remote courses along with instructor led-training programs, video learnings and assessment courses.
- Create instructional material such as job aids, facilitator guides, knowledge checks and assessments
- Provide technical support to the L&D team in the use and maintenance of online learning modules
- Ability to manage time in order to meet project deadlines based on organizational needs
- Develop educational programs to support specific organizational initiatives.
- Maintains friendly, cordial and confident relationships, with all employees and clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university with a degree in training, education, human resources or healthcare management/administration is preferred. Experience with Articulate Storyline and Vyond required.
2+ years of experience in development and deployment of learning, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 25 lbs. Average lift less than 10 lbs. Must be able to work extended hours as necessary.
