Job description

Primarily responsible for the development, maintenance, and creation of all training materials. General purpose of this role is development of training process, LMS course creation and maintenance, video productions, LTO support, and new menu support.

· Maintain all SOPs, Operational manuals, training materials, etc. within LMS, Fusion Prep, Zenput, SharePoint etc. and update as needed.

· Work cross functionally on constant development of new training and operational tools, training manuals, menu, and special items.

· Seek continual improvements and innovations to improve training tools.

· Create and deploy training videos as needed.

· Develops training content for all company rollouts and initiatives including, but not limited to:

o Training department projects

o Culinary updates, menu changes and rollouts, and Limited Time Offers (LTOs)

o Technology initiatives

· Partner with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs.

· Supports Culinary team with photoshoots for new menu launches.

· Create all training courses within the LMS for hourly and management training.

· Employs a systematic approach to instructional writing and design.

· Writes scripts for video and audio content needed for operational guides and training.

· Constantly work to evolve and grow LMS content.

· Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content.

· Work with subject matter experts to create course content.

· Provide support to the field for training on how to use the LMS.

· Troubleshoot technical problems with LMS via reported user issues.

· Act as the liaison between Schoox and the field for website issues.

· Maintain all user accounts for field and Support Center.

· Performs other related duties as assigned

· Respond to e-mail and voicemail, as necessary

Education and Experience:

· Associate degree in Training and Development or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Proficiency in LMS content creation software (e.g., Storyline).

· Proficiency with video technology and editing.

· Understanding of varied learning styles including Adult Learning Theory.

· Knowledge of ADDIE model, including assessment and evaluation methods.

Physical Requirements:

· While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.

· This role is based out of our Maitland Restaurant Support Center with the option to work remote on Mondays.

· Travel: Some travel will be required to respective stores, in some cases may require nights and weekends.

Work Environment:

· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate when in office environment; however, occasional site work will require exposure to varying weather conditions and increase exposure to noise. Proper food handling procedures and safety precautions, such as cutting gloves, etc. will be required when handling product.
